Two weeks ago, we partnered with OurMilitaryKids to host a day of outdoor adventure at MissionsNPS for military families in the San Antonio area. 🚴 Participating National Guard and Reserve families learned about the park’s history from a ranger and explored its historic grounds and landscapes on foot and by e-bike. The kids got hands-on while learning about the acequia, the centuries-old irrigation system that once watered mission farmland and still operates today. By the end of the trip, families had covered nearly ten miles.
