“Joseph listens to God. … You are on that same team. Take time to listen to God.” It was wonderful to welcome Fr. Melvin T. Rayappa, S.J., Assistant Director of Vocations for Jesuits East, as he celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph, the patron saint of the Society of Jesus, with our school community in Scaccia Auditorium Thursday morning. Students participating in the Mass included the chorus and guitar ensemble as well as: Luca Comaratta ’27 (First Reading, from the Second Book of Samuel), Lucas Deyell ’27 (Responsorial Psalm), Julius Schopp ’27 (Second Reading, from the Letter of St. Paul to the Romans) as well as Carson Kwiatkowski ’27 and Philippe Mangweji ’27 (both read the Prayers of the Faithful). Serving as acolytes were: crossbearer Timothy Cosgrove ’27 and candlebearers Evan Alessi ’27 and Dylan Mochrie ’27.
