Spend even a few minutes with our interpretation team and one thing is clear: we love our trees. 🍁 ❤️ We tagged along with our interpreters at Farbach-Werner and were reminded that maple season runs on a rhythm: freezing nights ❄️ and slowly warming days ☀️. Those temperature swings create the pressure that gets the sap moving. Every detail is intentional: which red maples to tap, how much sun each tree gets and even placing taps along the trail so visitors can follow the story. And yes, it’s safe. Healthy maples produce far more sap than we collect when tapping is done properly. What stands out most about the process is the teamwork. Decades of experience alongside brand-new learners.
