Last year I reached out to so many people from all over social media and across the world to raise awareness for the suicide of Jamel Myles, a 9 year old who was bullied for identifying as gay. I am so shocked that I got so many people involved but I also want this to be a reminder that we still have a long way to go. So many people of the #lgbt community face bullying and hate crimes on a regular, so many have been murdered, broken, and judged for who they are and it is completely unacceptable. Regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation WE ARE ALL HUMAN! I could go all day on this topic but I’m going to keep it short, it all starts with us!
