At the end of the day, we’re not trying to replace the originals, those songs are classics for a reason. We’re just giving people another way to experience them. Some folks grew up hearing these songs but never fully understood the lyrics, and hearing them sung in English hits different than just reading a translation. Sure, you can use Google or any other translator, but it’s not the same as hearing someone actually sing it in a language you understand. It also opens the door for new listeners who might’ve never been exposed to norteño music in the first place. If it’s not your thing, no problem at all, just keep scrolling.
