True straightness means alignment through the horse’s entire body, from poll to hind foot. When one hind leg pushes harder than the other or one shoulder carries more weight, the jump itself becomes uneven. Straightness may feel like a small detail in daily training, but it plays a major role in helping horses jump confidently, land evenly, and stay sound throughout their careers.
