Today, we joyfully recognize and celebrate our Benedictine heritage. The day began with the junior class gathering to receive their class rings and St. Benedict medals — for those who wear or carry it, the medal serves as a visible expression of trust in God’s power and His loving protection. This day marks an important step as these young men and women prepare to transition into leadership as seniors and begin discerning their next steps beyond Benet after graduation. Following the ceremony, the entire school community came together for Mass to celebrate the Solemnity of the Traditional Passing of St. Benedict, joining in prayer and reflection as we honored his life, legacy, and the enduring call of Ora et Labora — prayer and work — that continues to guide our faith and school community.
