The March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 730,000 viewers on TBS, according to Programming Insider, making it the highest-rated Dynamite since the Grand Slam Mexico special on June 18, 2025. The episode posted a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo.
The number is up 18% from last week's 619,000 viewers and surpasses the previous 2026 high of 692,000 set on February 18. These figures do not include streaming viewership on Max.
The number is especially notable given the competition. The episode aired against the opening round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, plus an NBA game on ESPN and Fox News primetime programming.
Wednesday's show was the first Dynamite following AEW Revolution and featured Darby Allin defeating Gabe Kidd in a coffin match, Will Ospreay returning and brawling with Jon Moxley, Toni Storm being found unresponsive leading to Mina Shirakawa winning a no-holds-barred match, and Swerve Strickland challenging Kenny Omega to put up his EVP status.
