These brave women worked as wartime factory riveters, building the machines that helped end the war. ⚙️Naomi Parker Fraley, who passed away in 2018 at age 96, was the inspiration for the iconic "We Can Do It!" poster. She worked in the machine shop at Alameda Naval Air Station. ⚙️Phyllis Gould, who passed away in 2021 at age 99, was one of the first women welders at the Richmond shipyards.
