The Windsor High School girls’ golf team dominated today’s Mead league tournament held at Twin Peaks in Longmont 💪 The Wizards, which claim Pelican Lakes as its home track, fired a four-person score of 340 (60-over) to beat Holy Family by 16 strokes on a very long golf course. Twin Peaks played to 5,847 yards today, which is 247 yards further than the previous longest of the season. Three Wizards claimed the top three spots with sophomore Macy Kleve 72 (2-over) winning medalist, followed by senior Paige Bretz in second place with a 77 (7-over), and junior Alexa Strohman in fifth place with an 89 (19-over). Sophomore Abbie Winterbottom rounded out the scoring with a 102 (32-over) for 12th place. Windsor will play in the Loveland league event on Monday and the Silver Creek league match on Tuesday.
