Inspired by 1930s-style silhouettes, the outer dress is cut in silk and cotton tulle from remnants of the #CoachFall20 runway collection. The inner portion is comprised of a full corset and knit lace stitch bloomer made from recycled yarn. Hand-appliquéd lace intarsia covers the dress (dyed naturally using dandelion tea 🌼) and the smile is a *Gabriella takes the #MetGala* original. Gabby also carries a Wavy Dinky bag embellished with Met Museum discards—maps, plastic water bottles and napkins.
