If you’re a Marquette journalism student looking to earn academic credits while getting hands-on experience working with a world-class journalist on a major investigative project, consider applying for a student reporting internship with the O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism. Student interns work with professional journalists selected for nine-month O’Brien Fellowships on a groundbreaking, in-depth reporting or multi-media project that exposes injustice, unearths hidden truths, and makes a difference in the community and world. Over the next 2026-2027 academic year (two semesters), student interns will earn three credits each semester toward advanced journalism/capstone requirements.
