Today is World Frog Day, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than highlighting our conservation efforts for a frog near and dear to us, the dusky gopher frog. Check out this video to learn more about the program!   This past year was especially productive (credit to our keepers and husbandry staff!) with 11 egg clutches laid on zoo grounds, over 1,000 tadpoles and 2,000 juvenile frogs released, and 1,200 tadpoles from our IVF efforts.   As we look to the future, we're excited to keep showing how zoos can make a real difference for animals in the wild.
