We're celebrating the start of #PrideMonth with our Smorgasburg vendor highlight this week. Today we're looking at biteminidonuts, known for their "Gay Donut." BITE was founded by queer cousins B and Sam from Brooklyn where they found their love for baking through their grandmother. One day, they accidentally used a mini donut maker to make a ton of miniature donuts that they gave to their friends and family. From there they worked on a recipe and began making customized mini donuts for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings or events in offices like Google and the NBA. In 2022, their famous Gay Donut raised $5,000 for aliforneycenter which helped LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness in New York City. You can try these tasty and colorful bite-sized treats today and every Friday through the end of October on Fulton Street from 11am-7pm.
