This Sunday, 8/7 is #NationalSisterDay and we’re celebrating by highlighting Yami and Tina Correa: the co-founders and sisters behind thesisteryard. These sisters were born in Venezuela, grew up in Miami, Florida, and now live here in New York City. They grew up in a family of women who would gather in the kitchen and create delicious meals. Tina and Yami both began separate careers in different areas of food but continued to enjoy cooking together at nights and weekends. They needed a caffeine boost to get them through the week. That’s when they started making Coconut Cold Brew Coffee at the start of each week so they could have it ready in the morning before work. They continued to work on perfecting their recipe until they reached the health-conscious, delicious caffeine boost that is now known as The SisterYard.
