“I’ve spent the majority of my life working in Lower Manhattan, and it’s something that I cherish,” shared Scot Pomerantz, Port Authority Police Lieutenant at the World Trade Center and president of the Port Authority Shomrim Society. Lieutenant Pomerantz has been with the #PAPD for 18 years, serving in his current role at the World Trade Center since 2014. He protects the campus, while also working as its unofficial ambassador. He gives tours across the 16-acres to line-of-duty visitors, foreign dignitaries, and Make-A-Wish recipients, sharing his unique perspective on a place that means so much to him. Just a few weeks ago, he was among the PAPD members who gave a special tour to U.S. Marines of the #USNSComfort.
