Wow. If I look back to my younger self just 4 years ago I never would have dreamed that I would be posting during pride—but here I am, sharing my story and embracing this magical part of myself. ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Pride month, international coming out day, and all of the holidays that celebrate the LGBTQI+ community used to be something I would entirely detach from. This detachment was was a result of my internalized fear around being gay and is something I so badly wish I could go back and tell my younger self not to be so afraid of. ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This part of my identity that I used to struggle with so deeply, truly has become a ray of my light. I wouldn’t wish for things to be any other way.
