I had a great response on Stories to the idea for this series, so here we are, Week 1 - the first Sunday after the Spring Equinox! Every Sunday morning I’ll post the view from my bedroom window, which overlooks rare wet woodland in the East Sussex countryside, so that we can see how it changes throughout the year. This is our first spring and Summer in the barn, so we’re all watching this grow and change for the first time together! It’s so exciting! Yesterday morning I actually woke to a young deer nibbling some branches right by the big moss covered tree trunk. I couldn’t quite catch her on camera, but hopefully she’ll come again. Of course this is an interiors account, so I’ll always do a swing round to the actual bedroom as well. I’m trying some green mixed in to the bed linen for the first time today! As you can see, the other side of the room, which is my wardrobe and work space, is pretty empty at the moment, but as I add to it you’ll see that come to life as well. ...
