The underground rap-adjacent and chronically online community has quickly become one of the fastest-growing subgenres, and one of the most exciting developments in rock. Based in Massachusetts, overtonight dropped his first-ever track in October 2024, and blew up when his song “mirrors demo” went viral less than one year later. Inspired by artists like Juice WRLD and the late wifiskeleton, his music mixes elements of emo, alternative rock, and pop.
