Not all feedback is created equal and learning how to navigate it early can shape how you grow in your career. Join us Tuesday, March 24, for a screening of the 1950s film “Teacher’s Pet,” which explores the tension between “street smarts” and “book smarts” through the lens of a tough newsroom editor and a journalism professor. The screening will be followed by a panel with Newhouse professors and senior students sharing real experiences on handling tough feedback, what to expect in future Newhouse courses and beyond, and why professionalism matters in high-pressure environments. Free pizza and drinks will be available during the panel while they last. Open to all including JNL 211 students. #mmd #professionaldevelopment #studentexperience
