Jim Cornette paid tribute to the late great Dennis Condrey on the latest Jim Cornette Experience. ​ Cornette said Condrey fell in a hallway and was found by a neighbor. "He was cognizant of what was happening, but by the time the ambulance got there, he was paralyzed from the chest down." ​ Cornette said after decades of bumps, two cancer battles, and surgeries that included the removal of his voice box, Condrey's neck may not have been able to absorb even a routine fall. "People are going to say, what the f**k? Dennis Condrey took bumps for 50 years, he trips in the hall and breaks his neck. But you got to think, not only the years of bumps, but also two cancer battles and multiple surgeries. Who knows what kind of shape his neck was in." ​ His wife Teresa was nine days from retiring so they could spend more time together. ​ Cornette called Condrey "seamless" in the ring.
