This might be hard to hear, but it's the truth⬇️ . . . I know how much you are investing in your daughter’s softball career. If you’re a part of a top-level softball organization in the country that actually develops their athletes, then this might not apply to you. Nevertheless, here is my take: Exposure doesn’t matter if your athlete isn’t ready. I see this all the time, players getting exposure before they’ve actually developed the skills to stand out. And that doesn’t just slow them down…. It ends up costing you more in the long run. I hate to say this but again it’s just the truth, there are organizations out there that will take advantage of how badly athletes want it…. And how much parents are willing to invest. I wish I had focused on development earlier in my career. It would’ve saved my parents time, money, and a lot of unnecessary stress.
