Today we had the opportunity to honor Lizzie, who is Texas State Women’s Basketball’s Team Impact teammate! 💕 This is Lizzie’s second season with Texas State as part of an on going partnership with Team Impact. Team Impact is a program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams to promote belonging, empowerment and resilience. Lizzie, who is now in kindergarten, has been battling leukemia since she was three years old. Lizzie and her family will be finishing her treatments for leukemia and ringing the bell to complete her cancer treatment on February 24th! #EatEmUp
