Biotech founder Celine Halioua is developing drugs aimed at extending dogs’ healthy lifespans. Her goal is a daily beef-flavored pill that could give dogs one extra healthy year. Her company, Loyal, has raised more than $250 million to bring its drugs to market. “If we can achieve this, this is a massive, multi-billion-dollar company,” says Halioua. “If we only do that, we’re all happy. But, oh, by the way, this also unlocks the possibility of us working on human longevity one day.
