Big boy bed!!! I had loads of questions on this topic so I wanted to share what worked (so far) for us, why we did it and also some of your tips that were sent to me. I don’t think there’s any right or wrong age to do this. My motto is always whatever works for you is the right way. As soon as I posted a story sharing that I was moving Miles to a toddler bed, my DMs were filled with WHY??? Why so soon? I knew I wanted to have Miles in a toddler bed before the 2nd baby arrives because they will be sharing a room and I wouldn’t want to make the change over with another baby in the room. As well, I wanted him to get used to a big boy bed so that when we travel we don’t have to pack a crib/packnplay. So those were the two main reasons. There wasn’t much more to it. Similar to when we took his pacifier away, it never scared me because I knew that if it didn’t work out then we would give it back because the timing wasn’t right. The same goes for the toddler bed, if he didn’t adjust well...
