Every time I look at this photo my eyes tear up (happy tears of course). This was when David was first able to come into the OR after my emergency C-section and was finally able to bring little Miles over to meet me. This photo brings back so many emotions that were going on. How did I go from 10cm and pushing, to frantically rushed into the OR in seconds, to 3 minutes later meeting sweet Miles, so calm and alert making everything that happened vanish. No one ever said pregnancy, labor or motherhood was easy but I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this new world that has changed me, changed us for the better 💙. My mom raised us with a love like no other and I finally understand the love of a mother. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers, and soon to be mothers.
