It came from Colorado in stock form and I slowly modified it to what it is today. We don’t drive it as much these days, but when I do it still amazes me that’s it’s almost a 30 year old vehicle. They don’t build them like this anymore. I hope one day that the industry will start producing affordable electric/hybrid engine conversions for gas vehicles. This way we can give some vehicles longer lives while reducing pollution or they’ll just end up in the scrap yard, where it takes more energy to recycle. It’s a vicious cycle and it’s hard to find balance and efficient solutions, especially when vehicles are essentially in our lives.
