The years between 2015 and 2025 have been the hottest since records began, the World Meteorological Organization has announced. The State of the Global Climate report from the WMO, the UN’s weather agency, said 2025 was either the second or third hottest year on record, about 1.43 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial average. ⁣ ⁣ WMO Associate Scientific Officer Claire Ransom told CGTN ‘we're seeing that there are signs of acceleration across the climate system not just in warming on lands but also worryingly warming in the oceans.’⁣ ⁣ #climate #climatechange #wmo
