In honor of this occasion, this Monday, we are featuring First Class (senior) midshipmen in the #ClassOf2023 who will commission as Marine Corps officers in May. Featured are MIDN 1/C Ricardo Herzog-Balderas, MIDN 1/C Anna Han, MIDN 1/C J.W. Lee, and MIDN 1/C C.J. Dayton. MOS: Military Occupational Specialty, a role or job someone holds while in the military. All Marines are assigned a four-digit code denoting their primary occupational field and specialty. Occupational Fields are identified in the first two digits and represent a grouping of related MOSs. Job codes are identified in the last two digits and represent a specific job within that Occupational Field.
