When we say we are a mishpacha, we mean it—and there may be no clearer expression of that than Color War. 💙💛 Today is Mishpacha Monday AND Day 1 of Color War 2026, and if you’ve ever wondered what that looks like at DJDS…here’s a glimpse: ☀️🌙 Face paint. Full-team uniforms worn with pride. Pie-eating contests that get surprisingly intense. Silly games that have the whole school cheering for their teammates. SRO Officer Dave getting in on the action (he remains neutral, of course) Kindergarten joining in the fun with cheers and ruach of their own. A gym full of students showing up—for their teams, and for each other. 💙💛 It’s loud. It’s a little chaotic. It’s deeply joyful.
