Well, during summer in the Lofoten Islands, the sun actually doesn’t go below the horizon because the islands are so far North in the Arctic Circle. It’s called the Midnight Sun. 🥾Trail: Reinebringen 🌲 Distance: 2 miles round trip (short but steep!) ☁️ Elevation gain: about 1,500 feet 👣 @alltrails rating: Hard 🏔️ What to expect: The hike begins on a stone staircase built by Sherpas, which makes the steep climb more manageable but still very challenging.
