I recently had the opportunity to interview Aneesh Raman, linkedin’s Chief Economic Opportunity Officer at their San Francisco headquarters to learn about his new book, Open to Work. What struck me was his conviction that the skills we’ve been calling “soft” are about to become the most valuable skills in the economy. Here are 3 things from our conversation that changed how I think about work: 1️⃣ Your job is NOT your title. Aneesh breaks work into three buckets: tasks AI will do on its own, tasks you’ll do with AI, and tasks that remain uniquely human.
