Are you going to be a beginner, or a quitter?
When something is hard, the only way to succeed is to push through & stay consistent, or change something.
I have been poling for 12 years & there have been times when consistency went out the window, I had a 3 year gap due to the pandemic and moving. When I picked it back up, I was so annoyed with myself for not staying consistent. I looked at some of the incredible polers who I used to follow when I first started & I saw how much they had progressed in the time I’d had off.
There are no short cuts, not in pole, not in the gym. We get results by showing up for ourselves consistently… even and especially on the days where we don’t feel like it.
If you want to build a new skill or habit then repetition is key, there is no “she’s so lucky”, “she has good genes”… it’s “she was determined” & “she was disciplined”
