This week has been all about reflection. Thinking about all the things i should have / could have done… hopefully you can learn from some of my lessons… these are my new rules for dating in the future… do you agree with these? 1. Providing financially cannot and does not make up for emotional neglect. 2. Once a man has lusted after other women, break up there and then, do not hold on to a version of him that doesn’t exist anymore. Walk away if he disrespects you in that way. 3. Just because he’s a provider, doesn’t mean he’s a good person or have your best intentions at heart. Some men use this to manipulate you. 4. Never become fully dependent on a man. I always said I’d never give up working but even living in his house and driving his car creates a level of dependency which made me stay much longer than I should have. 5. Never ever relocate for a man unless there is a ring on your finger. I uprooted my entire life for a man who discarded me 3 years down the line… never again. ...
