Day 55 of Learning Robotics! This was one of the most difficult yet satisfying videos I’ve probably ever made. It was extremely difficult to get the motor apart, they seem to be using an extremely powerful adhesive INSIDE the bolt shaft. Regardless, once I got it apart and started going through the science I was absolutely blown away. I might dive deeper into magnetism and explain flux in more detail but it’s genuinely fascinating how motors are constantly battling to keep their energy. Building an actuator with a frameless motor for my robotic arm is going to be incredible. #engineering #robotics #motors #roboticarm #robots
