Day 54 of Learning Robotics! It’s finally time to evolve the cycloidal actuator prototype into something even better. While our prototype was a good way to learn and actually achieved really good results for a 3D printed actuator… we need to build something more compact and precise so we can actually use it in robotic arms. A robotic arm with repeatable precise motion will be incredible for training AI and testing frontier models since you don’t have to worry about hardware errors as much. #engineering #robotics #roboticarm #robots #actuator
