Day 50 of Learning Robotics! Slowing down development is one of the biggest mistakes engineers make during a product’s life cycle. This happens everywhere in software engineering and it’s one of the biggest fallbacks that I usually avoid. However, during the development of my cycloidal drive I got a bit too engineering happy and seem to have overcomplicated a part that I could have easily simplified for the time being. This slowed me down a lot but going forward I will try to get version 1.0 out as soon as possible.
