This day felt so fancy!!! All five of my family members were given a complimentary upgrade from business class to first class on a flight from Singapore to Sydney with qantas This ended up being our last international flight for 3 years as it was December 2019. Why did we get upgraded? Flight was overbooked in lower classes due to a another flight cancellation. So people with higher airline status were bumped up. We had 3 Qantas Platinum Frequent flyers and Two Gold FF in our party.
