I met South African born architect Vasco Vieira in 2018 while property hunting in Quinta Do Lago for British clients. It was an early morning in September at his latest development, which was about to be launched to the market for €12m. For those who know Vasco, know how talented he is. For the others, Vasco made a name for himself in the Algarve (Portugal) 20 years ago and quickly became the go-to architect in Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo. I became a big fan of his style since I first saw one of his properties back in 2010. There is something very inspiring when an architect shares his/her vision about a new building by taking you around, but it can also be over powering for some buyers. The beauty of art is what we make of it, our own interpretation and how it makes us feel, rather than what the creator wanted to say.
