One of my favourite architects, self-taught French Jacques Couelle believed that straight lines and right angles were entirely man-made and provoked ‘human anxiety’. Long evening debate over a glass or two….😁 Instead, Couelle identified with the harmonious shapes found in nature, so combined curves and irregular angles as a basis for his designs, to mimic natural forms which he believed were more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. This house in Mouans-Sartoux, nested between Mougins and Valbonne in South of France is the perfect example of his unique and inspiring style. Modern troglodyte feeling. Love It! Hope you are having a Fab week so far!! ☀️   Looking to acquire real estate in France, Monaco, Spain, Portugal or the UK? Get in touch 👉🏼 seb_nicolleau. Retained Buying Advisor.
