Busy up-coming weeks advising several clients with their purchase across Europe and managing acquisitions in the Alps, London, Monaco and Mallorca. Similar to Marbella where I was last week with clients, Mallorca’s market has been super dynamic since the start of the year with Conselleria d’Hisenda (Balearics government) collecting €312 million in ITP (Impuesto de Transmisiones Patrimoniales) the first 6 months of 2021. ITP is the transfer tax when buying a property in Spain, equivalent to SDLT in the UK. It is the highest number over a decade. For reference €269m was collected in 2019 (pre-pandemic) over the same period. The prime segment of €1m to €5m is driving the market up. Similar trend seen across Europe with buyers looking for sunny escape, more space, outdoor and a better quality of life.   For more insights about the Balearics, DM me. Have a great week! ☀️   Looking to acquire real estate in Spain, France, Monaco, Portugal, or the UK? Get in touch 👉🏼 seb_nicolleau. Re...
