Where to invest in Europe ~ Paris has been at the top of most international investor’s list for the past 3-4 years and is likely to remain so in the foreseeable future. Recent Notaries figures (government data) show a 6% year-on-year prices growth at the end of 2020, despite the current situation. And this is on the back of a consistent yearly capital growth of 7%-8% since 2017.
The market is driven by a combination of factors: imbalance of supply and demand (not enough stock of property for sale in the city), very favourable borrowing conditions, Grand Paris Express, the largest transport project in Europe with 68 new stations and 200 kilometres of additional tracks to be completed by 2030 and the JO 2024 hosted by the capital.
All signs and market conditions are there to safely expect another robust year for prime property in Paris.
