With the ski lifts remaining closed in Austria (except for locals), France and Italy, switzerland has become the go-to place in Europe for many to enjoy the fresh powder this year. Resisting the international pressure to follow suit, the Swiss government kept its ski lifts open.🏂⛷ Zermatt is probably my favourite Swiss resort with its majestic Matterhorn, followed by St Moritz and then Gstaad. Set on the hill overlooking the beautiful town, you will find its famous palace, renowned amongst exclusive international clientele. Built in the early 20th century, Gstaad Palace has earned an unrivalled reputation for discreet, refined hospitality over the years. You will also find in Gstaad some of the most expensive real estate in the Alps with an average price of €13,900 Sq/m.
