ALPS RETREAT ~ January is always our busiest month for clients looking to acquire a place in the French Alps. They are usually familiar with our services as Buying Agents and start preparing their project with us early on for viewings post skiing season in March/April. We are seeing a shift this year. Based on the first 2 weeks of Jan, we’ve received a significant increase in demand compared to previous years. It could well be organic growth. However I would also suspect it is the natural extension of the domestic trends we’ve seen in the past few months: a need for space, outdoor, nature and fresh air. Skiing resorts have adapted and developed so much in the past 20 years, catering nowadays for winter and summer demands, with activities and buzz all year around.
