My 16 hour shift as an anesthesiologist assistant! I started off in the endoscopy suite with a couple of ERCPs requiring general anesthesia and a colonoscopy which was under sedation (twilight sleep). I had a morning break, lunch break and then took over a craniotomy that lasted pretty much all night. After my dinner break, I extubated the patient and transported him to ICU.
