European Balloon Festival 2024 🎈🎈🎈🎈 From July 10 to 14, the skies above Igualada (just an hour from Barcelona) will be adorned with balloons from around the globe 😍. More than 50 balloons from various countries will join Catalan and Spanish pilots in the competition for the festival's trophy. This year's highlight is the Space Balloon Capsule, a pressurized cabin designed for flights up to 20,000 meters, created by Zero 2 Infinity and customized by Ultramagic. A new addition is the Nights of Light, which will feature illuminated night balloons lighting up the city all week. On July 8, 9, and 10 at 9:30 PM in Plaza de Cal Font, there will be free tethered flights, awarded to winners of the festival's social media contest ebf_igualada.
