This team broke my achy breaky Hoosiers heart while I was a middle school student in Bloomington, Indiana and as a Hoosiers fan like myself who would love to have seen us win a Big Ten Championship this year, questions how much we should have beaten Michigan in 2023 and Penn State in 2016. A young middle schooler had his sights set on winning the championship and seeing the team and my class go crazy until the Michigan Wolverines spoiled the party leading us down a rabbit hole for several years. This story is about the Michigan Wolverines' 2015-16 dominance that gave the team a jumpstart to further success by the end of the 2010s during the dominate John Beiline era of Michigan basketball and set the stage for a decent run with Juwan Howard as a coach for the Wolverines.
