Stix 🤝 Chicago’s inner city youth @thejalen_smith celebrated another season of “Kickin it with Stix,” his program with the young men from @champsmentoring focused on mental health discussions. “Growing up I did not have someone in my position to talk to on a day to day basis. It’s my turn to give them that outlet to express themselves.” Throughout the season, Stix provided the group with a safe space for vulnerable conversations. The group met eight times this year with activities varying from yoga, journaling workshops, career panels and Bulls games. Congrats to all “Kickin it with Stix” youth on completing this season! 👏
