Running for pride and setting new personal records! 🌈🏃🏽‍♀️ This is actually a community appreciation post 🫶🏽 Not just showing off my PR and my cute 🐮 slippers. I’m so thankful for my running community. For the past few years Ive ran mostly by myself, with the occasional friend joining me. Then the past winter came and I felt the most intense grief after my mom’s passing. My whole world fell apart. All motivation to run or even staying consistent with my workouts was diminished. Then one morning I decided to join @los_corridos and it was one of the best choices I’ve made. This amazing group of people have embraced me with love and encouragement. Giving me purpose to run again and helping ease my grief. The support is truly inmensurable. I believe that building community is essential to our well being. And I’m so glad I found this group.
