Florida State acquired Duke sophomore defensive back transfer Ma’khi Jones from the portal this offseason. Jones had a solid 2025 campaign as a true freshman, where he recorded 35 tackles (1.5 for loss), one sack, one pass break up, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. The Newark, New Jersey native seems to be just scratching the surface of what he can be as a player. The Seminoles need as many playmakers in Tony White’s defense as possible in order to accomplish their goals of competing for championships.
